The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), an initiative of Qatar Foundation, announced the six winners of the WISE Awards 2010 amongst 30 finalists from 16 countries. Mr Mushtaq Chhapra from Pakistan is one the winners for his project: The Citizens Foundation (TCF). TCF was established in 1995 with a motto: Quality Education for the Less Privileged. The foundation embarked on this journey with the objective that education for the poor will not be poor; rather purpose-built, accessible and affordable with extra focus on female education. TCF successfully achieved all its objectives by setting up over 660 school units in 68 cities across Pakistan, with over 92,000 students that include over 50% females. Not only this, it imparted a quality education that gave over 83% its students first division in Matriculation. Mr Chhapra is visiting Doha to receive his award from HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned at a Gala Dinner on 8th December. He will be exhibiting his project at the summit that is taking place in Doha from 7-9 December. Taking the opportunity of his presence in Doha, Pakistan Engineers Forum (PEF) has invited him at a get-together with the Pakistani community in Qatar. You're cordially invited to share this honor as a fellow Pakistani, congratulate Mr Chhapra and get a first hand experience of his road-to-success project. The get-together will be at 7:30pm on Tuesday 7th December 2010 at Pakistan Embassy Auditorium, Doha Qatar.
